Disney Pixar’s “Coco” Shows Phenomenal Depiction of Land of the Dead

Coco is one of two movies released by Pixar in 2017, the other to be Cars 3. Not much is known about Coco, only that it is meant to borrow very strongly from Mexican culture in the same manner that Moana borrowed from Polynesia.

It focuses around a little 12-year-old boy, Miguel and his lovable sidekick dog, Dante, who travels to the mythical Land of the Dead after finding an enchanted guitar. Many are referring to it as an animated ‘love letter to Mexico’. Check out the trailer below!
